From mid-December to mid-April in San Juan, the weather is warmest, most welcoming, and driest. The hurricane season is June to November. It's when San Juan (and Puerto Rico) are at their wettest and hottest.

Winter is San Juan’s peak season. This is because travelers travel to warmer climates in the northern part of the hemisphere. The best weather means that there are more people and higher prices for hotel rooms.

Although the weather is generally consistent throughout the year, San Juan has shoulder seasons that can be very useful for budget-minded travelers.
